The village lies North West of Dorchester, between the A37 (Dorchester - Yeovil Road) and the A352 (Dorchester - Sherborne Road).From Dorchester: Go along the A37. At Grimstone turn right at the sign for Sydling St Nicholas. Pass under the viaduct and travel approximately 3 miles along the Sydling valley into the village. The Village hall is in the centre of the village opposite the bus shelter.From Yeovil: Go along the A37. Turn left at the first turning to Sydling and right into the village at the bottom of the hill. Drive straight into the village, past the pub to the centre of the village where the Village Hall is on the left, opposite the bus shelter.From the A352: Turn for Sydling St Nicholas from the A352 at Cerne Abbas. After descending into the Sydling Valley, bear left at the ford and left again at the bridge, taking the road for Dorchester. Drive straight into the village, past the pub to the centre of the village where the Village Hall is on the left, opposite the bus shelter.
