If you can, it is a good idea to take a 'cold run' in the daylight as there is little street lighting in parts and Halstock is a web of lanes! From the village centre follow signs to Church, Hall, Cheddington. Head southwest! Stay to the right. You will go away from lights for a mile whilst between fields. The hall is up the slope to the right with good parking in front, just before the signpost and right turn to the church.
